Lago Mio is an official partner residency of our Swiss arts council @prohelvetia. After we had to give up our 2021 plans due to the pandemic, we are even more pleased to finally welcome our first @prohelvetia_cairo guest artist with us. Mohamed Harb is the first Palestinian artist to visit Switzerland via Pro Helvetia. He will reside in Lugano until the end of September. Born in 1979 in Gaza, where he lives and works, Mohamed is a painter, photographer, video artist, and documentary filmmaker. His short and feature films have been honored with various awards and festivals, such as the @festivaldecannes Palestinian Showcase. At Lago Mio, @mohamedharb_art is supported by @galletti.giacomo.
